Burnout Recovery as a Clinical Target in Embodied Practice, Part 2- Interventions and Applications

Building on Part I, this session offers an applied framework for treating burnout using interventions grounded in ACT, CFT, and other evidence-based integrative approaches. Participants will learn to implement practical strategies that increase psychological flexibility, cultivate compassion, and promote strengths-based engagement. The training integrates experiential exercises, reflective practices, and case-based applications to support both personal and professional embodiment of these approaches in clinical work and supervision.

Course Objectives:

1. Apply at least one psychological flexibility intervention to help reduce experiential avoidance and foster value-based action in clients experiencing burnout
2. Implement at least two compassion-based strategies to regulate threat response and strengthen emotion resilience in the context of burnout
3. Integrate two strength-centered and compassion-informed practices to enhance recovery, engagement, and well-being
